Diagnosed with epididymitis. took my 10 day doxycline and just finished. still feel slight testicular pain at bedtime. also urethra still irritated?

Chlamydia...: ...is the most common cause of epididymitis in young men. That probably was your doctor's diagnosis; it's the main reason to use doxycycline. Gonorrhea is possible but less likely, but might not respond to doxy. Both testicular pain and urethral irritation should continue to improve, but check with your doctor if they continue. Your sex partner(s) need to be treated for chlamydia. Good luck!
