Let's clarify...: Clomid (clomiphene) is not a "treatment" for PCOS it is an ovulation inductor and yes, twin pregnancies are very common with this medicine. Other medicines used to control PCOS are contraceptives and metformin. These two do not induce ovulation. If you get pregnant while taking metformin only, your risk of twins is the same as the general population unless twins run in your family.
