Is fasting required for a urine drug test?

Not required: Hi. Fasting is not required for urine screening for drugs. Sometimes people try to burn calories and fat and drink lots of water to dilute their urine but that typically doesn't work to clear drugs out of urine.

No certainly not: at most don't over DRINK fluids. The test is invalidated if the urine is too diluted. Normal intake is fine.

No: The urine drug test is looking for breakdown products of specific drugs. It is a very accurate test so you don't have to worry about false positive results from other substances in your body.
