I got nexplanon a week ago, but left my nuvaring on too. will i still be protected or do the different hormones make each other less effective?

You are protected: Nexplanon + Nuva Ring means you are getting a little extra progesterone, but this will not make either contraceptive less effective. However, I would stop the NuvaRing at some point, as you may have some irregular bleeding and it is not necessary. The Nexplanon alone is quite effective.
