Nuvaring says not to leave in for longer than four weeks, some sources say there's enough hormones for 5 weeks, some say 30 days. which is it?

Also check out http://www.Nuvaring.Com/consumer/faqs/index.Asp for what to do after it's been in place 4wks as it's no longer protecting from pregnancy! if necessary, set an alarm on your smart phone, computer or calendar to remind you to remove your NuvaRing after 3 weeks use, then another reminder to place another in after 1 week break without it.
