Daughter was stable on singulair and symbicort, (budesonide and formoterol) but recently she's been having frequent asthma flares so going back to pulmo. what else can he add?

Increase/change: It may be time to look at the doses of her medication. There may be room to increase the amounts. There are other inhaled steroids or medications like Advair that combine steroids with B2 agonists. If she is using an inhaler without a spacer, a spacer will insure better delivery of medication. If she has specific allergies desensitization might help. All the best and I hope she feels better.
