Mono: Sore throat, white spots sometimes on tonsils, fatigue and swollen lymph nodes that tend to be more posterior ( in back of neck) versus strep throat which is typically more anterior ( front of neck).

Sore throat, fever: Headache, tiredness, swollen lymph nodes, occasionally a rash. You should be tested if you have these, as it could also be several other things that would respond to antibiotics.

Fatigue, sore throat: A single, large lymph node on either side of the neck, sleepiness, nausea, loss of appetite and in some extreme cases, viral hepatitis (when mono is from CMV rather than ebv) are common symptoms that i've seen in my practice.
