A member asked:

If the scar in my cornea does not effect my vision, does that mean it is not serious and won't need a transplant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most likely: Corneal scars are only a problem if they are centrally located or the site of chronic inflammation. Quiescent corneal scars out of the visual line, can almost always be ignored and need no treatment.
