Whole?microdeletion?: The p arm of a chromosome is the shorter arm, the q is the longer. Many tiny deletions (micro deletions) of the p arm are known to cause different problems. All the genes on the p arm are always in exactly the same place, different from all the other 20,000 genes we have. They are classified by how far they are from the centromere, like 17p12. Please describe what is missing.
