A member asked:

What are the chances of another miscarriage due to chromosome problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Parents or conceptus: With certain chromosomal changes in either partner, the risk of recurrence is high. If the reason was a spontaneous mutation in the conceptus the risk is low. To put things into perspective, the overwhelming number of first trimester miscarriages is due to chromosomal abnormalities in the conceptus, with the worst anomalies miscarrying the earliest.
