I threw up blood and went to the hospital. test came back good. he put a tube into my stomach. no blood. does that mean it didn't come from there.

Not necessarily: It depends. If the test was done immediately after the episode it would suggest the bleeding wasn't from the stomach. However if some time has passed since the episode the test could be normal if the bleeding has stopped. If the bleeding was from was from the duodenum(a common site of ulcer disease) it could also be negative if the pylorus was closed.
