In a lot of pain in my rib cage area since a pap 4 days ago. i have had many laps and never an issue. i also bleed during the test. what is this?

Something else: Because the Pap smear is obtained by scraping the cervix you can have some bleeding afterward but the pain in your rib cage is not related to the Pap. You may have strained a muscle, have inflammation in the cartilage, or even have an infection but the Pap is not the cause of the pain.
