A member asked:

Has regular clear pap tests o. have occasional bleeding . during pelvic exam dr saw white spots and inflammation been referred .is it cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure...: If the doctor saw an abnormality during an exam, it's best to see the referral and get their opinion. This spot may need a biopsy with microscopic examination to be sure of the diagnosis. It would be rare with regular normal pap smears to have developed cancer, but not impossible.
