Lump may be a node: Some infections, esp viral, or localized in origin, from right oral area could cause post auricular lymphadenopathy. Antibiotics may work if acute or common bacterial as cause. Have someone examine cause salivary glands are also near that area. Mildly high platelets can be due to infection,blood loss,drugs, etc and may not be related to lump. Get your private MD have a look to exclude other causes
