Probably too early: Ultrasound exams will not detect pregnancy in the very early stages, if you feel well with no symptoms of pain or cramping or spotting or bleeding, request a repeat ultrasound exam in about 10 days. You may also follow the pregnancy with quantitative hCG levels.

Ultrasound at 4wks.: Some ultrasound machines are unable pick up pregnancies as early as 4 weeks. If you are not bleeding or in pain, wait another couple of weeks and repeat the ultrasound to see the gestational sac. Blood tests can also help. Good luck.
