Is olanzapine good for hallucinations in elderly ? and what other best anti-halluciants and also tell me how easily schzinophrenia is to be diagnosed?

Olanzapine: Olanzapine (http://www.drugs.com/mtm/olanzapine.html) & other antipsychotics are drug of choice for treating hallucinations & delusions of psychosis. They're also approved for use in bipolar disorder in States (but I don't know about Pakistan). However, there is a Black Box warning against use in elderly w/dementia as there's an increase risk of death. So make sure benefit greater than risk.
