Contact dermatitis?: Many things can cause rashes. The wrist is a common location for contact dermatitis from jewelry or watch bands. The other consideration is an allergic reaction to something topical like lotion or soap, or something ingested like certain foods. Infections can also cause rashes, so if you have fever or discharge from the rash see a physician.
