Jaw randomly started hurting only hurts when i open my mouth wide started few days ago i can eat fine no other pain?

Early TMJ: May be an early TMJ problem. Avoid hard foods. OTC pain meds. If symptoms persist, see an oral surgeon. The surgeon may refer you to a TMJ expert. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists.
