Vertigo memory loss: Would see a neurologist /urgent care as soon as possible (today), and get an MRI/MRA of the brain carotid doppler ultrasound . You may have had a small stroke, as you can have vetigo in vertibrobasilar stroke. if not allergic and no ulcers, bleeding take aspirin 81 mg /day http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/media/releases/is_it_a_stroke_or_benign_dizziness_a_simple_bedside_test_can_tell

No normal relation: There is not an association between memory loss and vertigo. There is also no association between weaekness and vertigo. Valium and memory loss can be related. Your symptoms since your visit to the ER are concerning. It is worthwhile to ask another provider, such as a neurologist, to hear about your symptoms and help determine a new plan.

Impression: Sounds like the treatment for the vertigo is causing adverse side effects. Would contact your doctor and get this addressed.
