Hepatitis C: Good news! Hepatitis C therapy has undergone dramatic changes in the last year. There is now medication which can cure the disease in over 90% of the patients in usually 12 weeks. It is expensive, but it has very few side effects. According to my reading, it is available in Pakistan. Your mother should see her doctor for referral to a doctor who treats hepatitis C regularly.
