Get the MRI's: I'll bet Junior doesn't have any in the brain, but let's see. Hemangiomas in kids tend to disappear or at least shrink; port wine stains tend to stay around. Unless they're huge and consume platelets, they're a cosmetic issue. Many people love them. Some people hate them. Junior can decide about laser Rx when he/she grows up.

WHERE ?: Hemangiomas are common and can be found along any body surface. Most are not associated with any abnormality in the brain. A specific type of hemangioma called a port wine stain can be associated with brain hemangiomas when they occur in the distribution of the facial nerve (face upper/mid/lower) on one side. I would order such a study with PWS, but not random hemangiomas.
