A member asked:

What is a fat containing supraumbilical defect measuring 15mm and second one larger is caudal to the previous one measuring 3.5cm in my abdomen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hernias: These are hernias, or holes in the abdominal wall through which abdominal fat is protruding. The only treatment is surgery, usually done by a general surgeon. No urgency at all if no symptoms. You can find surgeons interested in hernia disease on the Americas Hernia Society website. Hope this helps!
