Usually not: These are usually asymptomatic cyst that develop along the sacral or lower nerve roots. If you had the MR done for another reason - these cysts were incidentally recognized- then I would recommend just watching them and knowing about them for now. Usually, they don't cause issues. Hope this helped!

MRI shows Minimal diffuse disc bulge at L5-S1 and Mild anterior left S1 nerve root flattening. Pain is intermittent and ranges from severe days to nothing. If this is minimal is the reason it caused that much pain Because its flattening a nerve?
