Weight issue: Working out 30 minutes every day is god for maintaining good health.Thee amount of weight you want to lose may require u 2 walk atleast 1 hour at a brisk pace along with eating right. Eat lot of fiber whcich will keep you filled up and not crave for food.

Cut out carbs: You may be eating too many carbohydrates. You only need about 150 grams per day. When you eat more than you need for fuel it goes to fat stores. Don't count fat or protein calories, just carbs. Even then you should expect to lose about 1-2 lbs per week. It takes more intense exercise to lose more than that.
