Liver enlargement: Most patients with an enlarged liver have no symptoms. With massive enlargement they may have a sense of heaviness in the upper abdomen. If there is liver inflammation associated with the enlargement,there may be some aching discomfort. Rarely there may be severe discomfort with large tumors.
