Should i be concerned if my liver is enlarged by 2cm?

Depends: The "normal" size of the liver is quite varied, depends on gender, age, race, weight, height. However one should make sure that the liver function tests are normal and image the liver with an ultrasound, will be helpful in insuring that this mildly increased size is due to benign reasons. In the United States, the primary cause of enlarged liver is due to fatty liver disease. Do you fit this?
