Depends : depends whether or not your symptoms are a true reflection of infection or unrelated. It's possible your symptoms were never related to h pylori and will not go away despite eradication. Don't be alarmed your doctor should perform a stool test for h pylori antigen after you have been off PPI for at least 2-4 weeks. Tripple therapy has high failure rate so a second course of new abx may be needed
