1 wk ago, i got a 2nd degree burn on my finger (1/2'x1/2'). should i keep it covered all the time or leave it open for a few hours every day?

Minor burn care: This burn is small and should not get infected. Neosporin ointment daily is a good treatment. If it is not healing within 2 weeks, then you should show it to your doctor. Wounds heal best when kept moist with a dressing or an antibiotic ointment. Letting them dry slows down the healing. Usually they hurt less, too!
