Do not break: It will eventually burst but it will feel more comfortable if you have a bandage cushioning it. It is sterile while a blister. If gets worse see a doctor.Keep clean with soap and water and apply triple antibiotic.Make sure tetanus shot up to date.

Recommended: It's best to protect the blister from bursting to allow a protective cover while the skin is healing from inside out.

2nd degree burn?: Can not be exactly sure but sounds by the "blistering" a superficial 2nd degree burn. Best to have a doctor see it and offer treatment plan...

Digit/2nddegree/burn: Best to open blister and clean area than cover lightly with a medicated dressing. Or seek in person MD evaluation.
