Not so with Stevia: No. A study I found (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0195666310000826) showed that with Stevia, there was no craving. Also, there was no increase in insulin levels, unlike with aspartame, which is important regarding the issue of insulin resistance. Hope that helps.
