I have a lump on tip of tongue for over a year. thought it was enlarged taste bud. how can i get rid of it?

Oral Surgeon: See the Oral Surgeon for evaluation and treatment. You may be pulling your tongue through your teeth in this area and may have formed this. Typically a simple surgical removal. Otolaryngologist: This may well be a benign mass like a papilloma but an otolaryngologist is best qualified to evaluate,advise and treat you. Perhaps the advice will be that it doesn't have to be removed.
