Ive noticed a lump inside the middle of my tongue , a few taste buds look swollen just above it. its been there around 5 weeks now?

Taste buds: they can get inflamed from a reaction to someothing you ate but 5 weeks is too long! go see a dentist/MD

Lump on tongue: This is impossible to answer with a clinical examination and additional information. That being said, any lesion or swelling that has been present in or around your mouth for longer than 7-10 days needs to be examined.
