Hi dr. my throat is hurt after intubation. it's been 5 days and the pain is getting worse. do you have any home remedies to relieve this pain? i can't stand it anymore. thanks you.

Choloraseptic: if you do not have fever you can have cholorasepic lozenges it help you,other wise see your doctor for evaluation and treatment

Sorry: you are having this pesky but very common side effect from intubation! Try inhaling warm vapor ( Vaporizer) If you dpn't have one go into bathroom and run hot shower until room "steams" If it persists beyond a week contact your PCP for advice or referral to Throat specialist!
