Coughing, wheezing: Coughing, wheezing when breathing out, shortness of breath are the most common symptoms. Occasionally none of the above symptoms are present and the only complaint may just be fatigue. Most people with asthma also suffer from hay fever and have a family history of asthma or eczema.
