No: Pain in the chest is never normal. Whether the pain is significant is the more important question. You state that you have Angina so I assume that there is a different type of thing that you're having. Pain in the right side of the chest is atypical for angina. Pain lasting for just a few seconds in the chest is rarely significant. So your pain is not normal but probably not significant.that said, you should consult your physician.
