A member asked:

If my uterus is showing quite bulky also inhomogenous enhancent what does this mean? didn't find fibroids?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Adenomyosis: Adenomyosis produces bulky uteri without evidence of fibroids, especially in women who have had children. This is a diagnosis that is presumptive because it can't be confirmed unless and until the uterus is removed by surgery. Heavy periods are often associated with this condition.
