Side effects of meds: Citalopram has known side effects that include tremors, nervousness, anxiety, and nausea. There are also some less-common effects on heart function. You were taking the lowest dose available, and got immediate side effects. I would recommend talking with your doctor, and switching to another antidepressant. Consider CBT psychotherapy for your depression and anger;more effective than meds alone
