How do you know if a peptic ulcer heals? on dexalant but still have some burning and pressure at times. would i know if got worse or started bleeding?

Unfortunately it: is a bit complex and sometimes you will not know if it is getting worse especially if you are above 50 years of age. At your age, abdominal pain may be one of the signs that healing is not complete, but other than that you wont know unless you get to have an endoscopy. We go by the symptoms and these are pretty accurate in most of the people. I hope it gives you some clarity. Thanks
