Not used for this: While clomid (clomiphene) can induce ovulation and ovulation is what regulates periods, it is a poor choice for regulation of periods unless you are also trying to conceive. There are many of other ways to regulate periods and there have been some concerns about the long term use of clomid (clomiphene). Hope this helps.
