Why do you ask?: Coconut has no cholesterol but does have a lot of saturated fatty acids. Nobody's done a prospective study for this sort of thing, and much of the scientific community believes that dire warnings about saturated fat are baseless. Managing your weight, level of fitness, and so forth are far more important overall than petty food choices. Enjoy your coconut.
