Depends on symptoms: If he is having pain in his left foot at rest or at night or an ulcer he may need a procedure. This could be either an angioplasty or a surgical bypass. Go to someone who can do both and will make the choice based on the situation and not what they can do - that is usually a vascular surgeon. Right leg should be all right
