I can feel this lump at the base of my skull on the right. i've been able to feel it for a couple of weeks but it hasn't caused any pain whatsoever. ?

Cysts versus bony lesion: The lump that you feel could be a cyst, or maybe a small bony lesion. Usually those are asymptomatic. It could also be a lymph node. If it gets bigger, or causes pain or discomfort, you should see your primary care physician

Lymph node: It is likely a lymph node. Check it about once a month and if it does not get bigger, do not worry. Cervical lymph nodes may become palpable for reason as simple as dandruff. Wash your scalp frequently, daily shampoo will be okay.
