Folliculitis?: Sounds like folluculitis (hair follicle infection), often due to bacteria like staph or strep. She probably shaves her pubic area, which often triggers folluculitis. If severe, she should see a doctor; an antibiotic prescription might help. If mild, it will clear up with hygiene (soap & water). Prevention is simple: stop shaving! A hair removal cream might be preferable.
