Right medicine?: That is a surprise. Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is a dual reuptake inhibitor, and, as such, is sometimes used for ADHD, to help with memory, retention, understanding. And your dose is low. In any case, you should be taking a medicine that doesn't cause such side effects, so you don't have to face this problem. A half dose would certainly not result in "discontinuation" symptoms. Are you getting any benefit?
