I use ibuprofen at night, for severe osteoarthritis in both knees. the swelling and pain are limiting my daily activities. what else can i do?

Weight loss: If you are at all overweight, weight loss can significantly reduce your pain. When we walk, use the stairs or get out of a car our knees see from 3 to 5 times our body weight. Loosing 10 pounds translates to 30-50 pounds less weight for our knees to carry when ambulatory. Weight loss will also slow the progression of osteoarthritis....Best wishes f
