Is obesity inherited?

Hardly ever: Obesity is due to poor diet, a massive amount of sugars added to everything. and lack of exercise. When I graduated high school in 1960, we had not one kid in 300 plus affected with morbid obesity. Our epidemic today is due to unhelthful food (high fructose corn syrup--HFCS--invented by a Japanese scientist in 1960). poor exercise, and a loony food pyramid--way too many carbs, and NOT ENOUGH FAT
