Ulnar nerve: entrapment. Ulnar nerve entrapment occurs when the ulnar nerve in the arm becomes compressed or irritated. It travels from your neck down into your hand, and can be constricted in several places along the way. During the surgery or while in the recovery room ulnar nerve may be exposed to some pressure for some reasons . Talk to the surgeon who did the surgery.
