Many things: Could be a muscle strain on one of the trunk muscles. Depending on the exact location however, it could be other things. If it is close to the groin, it could be an inguinal hernia. If it is deep, it could be pain from ovulation, or an ovarian cyst. These things are all unrelated, and cannot be diagnosed without a proper evaluation by a doctor. See a primary care provider if it's bad enough.
