Sleep in teens: A teenager needs about 10 hours of sleep so this time would be ok if your child did not stay up much past this

Monitor the issue: Teens need at least 9hr/d with variables that increase requirement like studying hard for exams or practicing for sports teams/cheer squad. As long as she can do her work with no evidence that she is sleep deficient it should be fine. If she yawns a lot/naps during family time, sleep walks or sleep talks she is showing signs of a deficit.
