It's possible: If you conceive and have twins, one in each side (horn) of the bicornuate uterus, you should consult a physician specializing in high risk obstetrics, a field known as maternal fetal medicine or perinatology. At age 48, there are additional risks if you conceive and you should be counselled and followed carefully, if it is you and not a family member.
